Bethel University Students Return to McKenzie

McKENZIE, Tenn.  - August 2022 - Bethel University freshmen  were busy during their first few days at their new home, McKenzie Tennessee and Bethel University.

Part of the freshmen events included a scavenger hunt in McKenzie and the painting of murals on the windows of downtown businesses.

 This event is designed to educate the freshmen about the McKenzie community and foster connections between the university and city. Other events during orientation include a Freshman Idol  and the Saturday afternoon Bethel Carnival on the campus of the university. Community businesses set up booths to greet the students. The booths included information about area businesses along with some offering free samples.
